Licensing Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Licensing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all licensing approval requests.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work collaboratively with internal partners to manage the product submission and approvals process as per Milestones calendars with a diverse portfolio of licensors pertaining to Basic Fun! This includes packaging and marketing submissions as well.
- Manage the Licensor’s approval systems & software, as well as Basic Fun!’s internal approvals system
- Responsible for coordination for Licensor production samples, as per contract.
- Oversee and manage the preparation, execution, and timely and accurate filing of all license applications in all jurisdictions where the Company conducts business, or as is otherwise required.
- Work with the Licensing Director to ensure the timely and accurate completion and submission of license applications, as well as responses to follow up requests from regulatory agencies.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Vice President of Licensing and Licensing Director to assist with and monitor licensing applications and renewals.
- Provide support to the Creative Services, Product Development, and Marketing Teams regarding Licensor Style Guides and Assets requests and on-line access.
- Maintain absolute custody, control, and confidentiality of all information encountered during the course of work.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the Sr Vice President of Licensing and Licensing Director.
Full-time on-site position located at our company’s headquarter offices in Boca Raton, Florida.

For this reason, we work in the office Monday through Thursday. We have chosen Friday as our weekly remote workday as we believe it to be the day that is most beneficial and effective for Basic Fun! and our employees.
Qualifications
Skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- Skilled in presentation creation including PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including high level skill in Excel, especially Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
- Have a curious and creative attitude and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills around consumers’ needs.
- Ability to be highly function with minimal direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines.
- Is obsessed with accuracy and pays great attention to detail.
- Highly organized, self-motivator, proactive, and works independently.
- Our office is in-person Monday through Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.
