Position Overview:
The Motion Graphics Editor / Creative Production Assistant is a hands-on creative production role within the Basic Fun! Content Studio, reporting to the Senior Director, Media Production.
This role combines motion graphics, video editing, production support, and on-set assistance. You’ll help create engaging content for eCommerce, social media, digital marketing, retail presentations, and internal communications while supporting our in-house video and photography productions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable animating in After Effects, editing in Premiere Pro, assisting on set, capturing social-first content, and helping bring creative concepts to life.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Motion Graphics & Video Editing (60%): Create engaging motion graphics and edit compelling video content for eCommerce, social media, digital marketing, retailer presentations, and internal communications using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Develop animations that highlight product features and brand messaging while incorporating graphics, music, audio, captions, and branding elements into polished final deliverables. Maintain organized project files and efficient workflows to support collaboration, revisions, and timely asset delivery.
- Production Support (20%): Support the Videographer during in-house productions by assisting with studio setup, lighting, camera equipment, product preparation, and general shoot execution. Help arrange products, props, and predetermined wardrobe, assist with talent as needed, and capture supplementary behind-the-scenes or social-first content. Collaborate with the studio team to ensure productions run efficiently while maintaining creative quality and brand standards.
- Asset Management & Content Delivery (10%): Prepare, organize, and deliver final creative assets for eCommerce, digital marketing, social media, retailer presentations, and internal communications. Maintain organized project files, digital asset libraries, version control, and naming conventions to ensure content is easily accessible and delivered according to technical specifications and project timelines.
- Team Collaboration & Communication (10%): Communicate project updates through Wrike and collaborate closely with Brand, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Photography, and Creative teams to ensure alignment on priorities and production schedules. Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach to creative challenges while supporting the Studio team on additional projects as needed.
Skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or digital content production, preferably in a consumer products, retail, or agency environment. Experience creating eCommerce and social media content is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Basic understanding of video production, composition, lighting, and camera equipment. Experience with CapCut, Blender, Cinema 4D, or AI-assisted creative tools is a plus.
- Strong eye for motion design, composition, typography, pacing, and visual storytelling, with the ability to execute creative direction while maintaining brand standards.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently while maintaining organized project files and digital assets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Process-oriented self-starter with strong attention to detail and experience managing projects and assets within a collaborative project management system such as Wrike.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, receive feedback, and contribute across all aspects of studio production.
- Full-time on-site position located at our company’s headquarter offices in Boca Raton, Florida.
